Camping Torch Stove

Our collection now includes a camping model. The stainless steel camping model comes with quick-release rods for one campfire, all necessary mounting accessories, a protective bag, and two metal wire sausage holders that can be attached (almost) anywhere to make cooking easier. With these holders, sausages can be cooked in the Swedish torch almost immediately after lighting, without burning them to a crisp.

The camping model is extremely convenient in the wild since you no longer need to haul a large stack of firewood or worry about extra gear for your campfire. Additionally, the compact rod is easy to carry, and the protective bag keeps your gear clean from soot and dirt.

Instead of a traditional campfire, it’s often better to opt for the quickly igniting Swedish torch, which is easy to set up using Hoyla Tools’ rod.

All you need is the rod, four logs, kindling, and any striking tool you have on hand—whether it’s a hammer, rock, camping axe, or another log.

Place the logs upright in a Swedish torch formation and strike the rod into them. The rod will securely connect the logs and keep them standing. You can use fire starters and birch bark to ignite the logs, but dry wood often catches fire easily. The vertical position of the logs in the Swedish torch allows them to ignite more efficiently.
